My work as a doula really has a lot of meaning to me. Coming from a birth background that would make you believe I am not a natural birth advocate I think a lot of people are surprised on my views of birth. Birth is really an amazing thing. There is nothing else in this world as beautiful and life changing as giving birth and witnessing life come into the world. And I consider myself one lucky lady to get to be there when some pretty amazing little people take their first breaths and come into this world with wide eyed wonder. New and beautiful babies really make you remember this world isn’t such a bad place. Being there to watch a woman transform from just another woman to a mother who has fought hard to birth her baby is incredible. The strength of women never ceases to amaze me. To those who have allowed me to be there with them during this precious moment I truly thank you and for those looking to let me into their lives to share something so beautiful I say thank you as well!!!
